Ask your AI.
Get the right video.
The whole Free Academy, 136 videos and 43+ hours, plugged into Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client.
Describe the problem the way you’d say it out loud. It hands you the video that answers it, and what that video covers, before you spend twenty minutes on it.

Connect it in a minute
One URL, pasted once. Your assistant gains three tools: search the library, build an ordered path, open a single video’s card. It decides on its own when to use them.
Claude
- Open Settings → Connectors.
- Click Add custom connector.
- Name it The Producer Helper, paste the URL, confirm.
Works in the Claude apps and on claude.ai. Each tool asks for your approval the first time it runs.
ChatGPT
- Open Settings → Connectors.
- Choose Add and pick a custom MCP server.
- Paste the URL and leave authentication empty. There is none.
Custom connectors are rolling out per plan. If you don’t see the option yet, it is your account, not the server.
Any other MCP client takes the same URL, as an http server with no authentication block:
{
"mcpServers": {
"the-producer-helper": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://theproducerhelper.com/mcp"
}
}
}What it is, and what it isn’t
It gives you the context: what a video covers, who it’s for, what it skips. What it won’t do is stand in for watching. A summary complete enough to act on means nobody clicks, and the people who made the video get nothing for it.
What it does
- Finds the video that matches a problem described in plain words.
- Builds an ordered path through a topic, in the order the site teaches it.
- Tells you who a video is for and what it covers, so you know before you watch.
- Says plainly when the library has nothing on it. An email to contact@theproducerhelper.com actually sends us looking.
- Links straight into the Academy, with the video open and the category ready.
What it doesn’t
- No settings, no ratios, no frequencies. Those belong to the video, and to the person who took the time to explain them.
- No summary long enough to make watching pointless. You get the context before you press play, never instead of it.
- No writing, anywhere. Nothing it can change, on any account.
- No guessing. If the library is silent on something, so is it.
That is what it does today. Something considerably larger is being built underneath. The video library is the first floor, not the building.
Try it with
Once it’s connected, just ask. No need to name a tool or mention The Producer Helper. Your assistant works out when to reach for it.
Rather browse it yourself?
The library has always been open, sorted by category and ordered like a course. The MCP is a second door, not a replacement.
